Shot Blasting

Shot Blasting removes burrs, scale, and rust with a controlled stream of abrasive S170 shot material. Preparing the part for adhesion, the shot material rapidly impacts the surface leaving it flat and smooth. Quicker than polishing and popular with die casters, shot blasting can be a mass finishing technique, lowering cost substantially.

Shot blasting is ideal for aluminum and steel and can prepare a surface for paint by removing oils or serve as a cosmetic, stipple finish. We utilize spinner hanger machines with all-virgin, S170 shot material which leaves every part with a consistent shot blasted finish customized to finishing needs.
